Internships

To offset shortages in federal budget sand Refuge staffing, "Ding" Darling Wildlife Society provides living stipends and other benefits for about a dozen interns each year.

Interns serve in positions under Biology, Education, Visitor Services, and Society staff.

Our interns bring youthful energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to the Refuge team. The internship program provides students and recent college graduates an opportunity to learn hands-on about the environment and Refuge operations, creating young conservation stewards of the future.

For information about applying for internships, please contact Ranger Toni Westland.
